MUSE: Makers In Museums

MUSE: Makers in Museums was a project initiated by South West Heritage (UK) funding 8 artists to make new work in response to the special collections to be found in the small rural museums of Devon and Somerset.

Jess worked with The Museum Of Dartmoor Life, Okehampton. She produced drypoint prints of some of the collection items, as well as  Ages of Change: 5 reduction linoprints showing a ‘fictional’ part of Dartmoor,  imagining the landscape changed through the ages as a result of human presence – farming, crafts and industries such as mining, quarrying, wool, peat cutting; also the presence of the military
